I happened to buy these amazonite drops, and the pink opal carved roses, from my favourite gemstone supplier in Hammersmith on the same day, just because I loved them. I hadn't really thought through how I might incorporate them into a design. Then it just came to me that they are the perfect complement for each other.

Just the thing for this season's pastels trend, these Bagatelle earrings are flattering to wear and move gracefully. They go equally well with Louis Vuitton's white embroidered shifts as with washed out denim if you want to give them a bit of an edge. Drop earrings are flattering to all face shapes, and suit most hairstyles, whether you opt for a sophisticated up-do, a Grace Kelly 1950s syle, a tousled half-up, or you choose to wear it down.  I personally would opt for a casual bun.

Handmade in London using freshwater pearls, amazonite and carved pink opal with sterling silver wire. As with all purchases, this item is beautifully wrapped in a black gift box and finished with grosgrain ribbon, and delivered with a personalised note of your choice. Matching necklace and bracelet sold separately. 

Here is some information about the word 'Bagatelle'. I think both 'a mere trifle' and 'physical love' are very apt for these earrings.
